Hi, I am Devrhoid Davis. I am a Jamaican born Physicist and Writer.
My ultimate goal is to build a globally renowned Biomedical Engineering and Robotics Research and Development Facility in the Caribbean. I hope for it to be the first of its kind and for its work to rival that of the leading R&D Institutions around the world. It is my intent to achieve this through the development and management of a regional and international Real Estate Firm and a Regional Stock Investment Advisory Firm.
My Interest are many and mostly unrelated. Topics that intrigue me span Health Care, Medical Health Physics, Business and Entrepreneurship, Stock Market Investing, Leadership, Robotics, and Biomechatronics.
I have developed intermediate expertise in a variety of technical fields: WordPress Website Development, Medical and Radiation Physics, Electronics, Programming (Python, Embedded C, PHP, Java ).
I have been investing on the Jamaica Stock Exchange for a little over 3 years and have continued to build my credibility in the arena of Stock Market Investing.
I have a lot of books but amoung my favourite books to date are Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham, The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, No Excuses by Brian Tracy, The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason, The Education of a Value Investor by Guy Spier, and the Dhandho Investor by Mohnish Pabrai…just to name a few.
My current Influencers include Jack Ma (Ma Yun), Warren Buffett, Upton Davis, Patrick Bet-David, Gary Vaynerchuck, Robert Kiyosaki, Brendon Burchard, Brian Tracy, Elon Musk and Phil Town.
The core of my philosophy is my belief that “Success is a matter of WILL not CIRCUMSTANCE”. Therefore, I should not complain but rather seek to use what I have been fortunate enough to be given to continually elevate myself and those around me. I believe that “Excellence is becoming of he who perseveres” and that “People should do something that matters, not for the MONEY but for the IMPACT”. I believe in continued development and that “If I am not growing, I am dying.”
